purple haze

some people have told me that purple haze is weed but i always purple haze was injecting heroin into the pink spot in your eye. thats why in jimi hendrix's song he says "purple haze all in my eyes"

Purple Haze was a "brand" (couldn't think of a better way to describe it) of acid in the late '60's .

I've also heard some people talk about Purple Haze weed but as far as I know there is no purple strain of Haze. Who knows though, new strains are developed all the time.

I've heard that the strain Hendrix was talking about, doesn't exist anymore. There are genetically made strains however. Or else he was talking about an LSD trip, as we all know, Jimi liked to trip LSD.

My dad refers to "purple haze" as acid, but I've seen very VERY purple weed which was totally busting with trichromes and juicy bud, and I'd call that "purple haze" as well. Pretty much any bomb weed that's purple, I'd say that's "purple haze" nowadays, cause i doubt the microdots are still floating around

Yeah, I agree with Dick. If it looks to be AWESOME weed and is purple as fuck I would count it as Purple Haze.

i have a high times magazine with this beautiful fuckin plant on the front fuckin huge buds with shit loads of crystals and has a purplish tinge all over it.....omg what i would do just to be in the same room with that :D

Actually, I got this Jimi Hendrix special edition CD, and it said that "Purple Haze" was about a dream that Hendrix had about being underwater under ice.

Purple Haze was acid (LSD) first, before it was any thing else. It coexisted with other long obsolete LSD like Orange Sunshine and such. The purple haze in his eyes is, I think, the hallucinations. He wa smost probably tripping while dreaming (hope that fits in with everyones story okay).

We used to get LSD in lquid form and drop it in our eyes using a visine dropper. I don't know if the original purple haze was microdot or liquid, but that could be the other way he got it in his eye. Probably not an accident.

Purple Haze is an actual strain and does exist and not all purple strains of cannabis are "purple haze." There are several purple strains of cannabis such as Purple Kush and the Haze and unless you are going a known purple strain, purple weed is usually caused by stress, the leaves turn purple.

As I remember, Purple Haze acid was a small purple pill. Sugarcube acid was obsolite by this time, and blotters, microdots, "computer dots", etc. were not yet popular (at least in my circle) in the late 1960's.
