this is my first grow room im a newbie to the growing world so i want you all to tell me what you think keep in mind i didint pay for shit and that i live with my mom and dad and have no job. it is still under construction i still need a fan and a fluro and a pest detterant and ill be off got some good seeds the other day the have red patches on them never seen anything like it before.
Looks good for a basic growroom just take that damed foil down or your cultivation room will turn into an oven. Foil is bad...very bad and it burns the leaves of your plants. I know it's hard living with your parents when it comes to doing things YOU want to do but If you don't have a job at least you can go down to lowe's and buy a 99 cent can of Flat White spray paint because using a fluro your gonna have to use all the lumens you can get out of it and those wood walls are going to eat up all your light. Think of it this way if your parent's don't know your growing ganja in there then they won't know you spray painted it white.

One more thing if you need a cheap fluro go to Kmart in the home improvment section. There is a light called "GE Warm White Bright Stick"
<----Exact same name it's not a typo" they have a sale this week and they cost $7.99. That fluro is a disposable one that is rated for 7000 hours of useful light. The lumen rating is 725 and they are the closest cheap fluros get to actual sunlight. Off sale they cost $9.99. There is another one called "GE Gro&Sho plant light and it contains more of the blue spectrum than the warm white does and they go for $12.99. Just remember Blue is for vegatative growth and red is for flowering. If you keep that in mind you might pull a little less than an ounce out of those plants. :)

yea id do away with the foil ,it can cuase burn spots too,
white walls do a great job paint the walls gloss white will bounce the light very well and evenly but all in all your on the right track

im a outdoor grower and only start them inside for the most part
i have some them self ballist type Floro's in a cabnet i use for starting them out some
read up all you can and apply what fits your situation

Ok Burn you asked for my opinion in chat today but the information you are receiving is correct. The only other thing to add is you need a good book for refrence. I still use my copy of Cervantes book "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture the indoor Bible" as reference.
Second thing, do your parents know you are growing in their house? What about odor control if they don't know about your plants?
no they dont know and if the find out i wont be at home for a long time but i havent figured out anything for the smell just yet , any suggestions for smell
ITS LOOKING GOOD SO FAR MY ONLY ADVICE WOULD BE LESS TINFOIL AND MORE INSULATION ALSO TRY AND KEEP YOUR PLANTS OFF THE GROUND TO STOP THE ROOTS FROM FREEZING IN THE COLD WEATHER SOME TIME AND A LITTLE PATIENCE AND YOU'LL BE JAMMIN...Quote:
