Question about outside planting...
First let me state I know about pritty much most of whats needed to be done to plant outside, hole size, soil mix,bucket/no bucket, size of buckets, ferts, so on and so on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,My question is could I go with small holes say 2 gallon holes with good soil/mix,in a good ground say close to a pond were vegatation flourish's! in hopes that the roots will continue on into the natural soil that is already there? has anyone did this could it be done, would trying this only be to find out that 6 weeks in! your root's are bounded ?...just wondering, after all lugging in bags and bags of soil for a 30 minute walk could get ricky! and tiresome! not that I mind a goodwork out, mostly concerend with loading up back pack upon back pack of soil to the grow spot!........any help on the situation would be appreciated.................
A little discription of the grow spot:sort of a wetland but not really wet! close to a pond were thousands of birds have been letting their droppings fall all over for decades or centurys lol, really heavy in weeds and other brush's,never gets any flooding just seems to be a kick ass place ,kinda like the garden of eden if you catch my drift......the place flourish's with all kinds of different flowers and stuff....so I was thinking maybe just dig 2 foot holes down and across, mix a good batch of what marijuana loves and plant my 10 inch clone right into it..............do you think I could even go with a smaller hole if the soil is good,or do you think I could probably just be able to drop the root balls straight into the current soil that the land provides????thanks.
Question about outside planting...
I have many clones already to go they have a awesome stock on them really trying to give them strength they are about 10 inch's high starting from the top of the soil....plan on putting out about 40 maybe more...
Question about outside planting...
i know people who do exactly like u and have ok results. if u want to use existing soil i recommend u break up the soil to a good depth and width to promote root growth. u still have to dig a big hole but u dont have to lug al the soil out their.
