so what tools do the helicopters

So what tools do the helicopters use when looking for plants? Do the find them by site or do they have something that can pin point a group of them?

What is the fed law or does it go by state where they can scan your house looking for hot rooms?

What other ways do they have?

um well if theyre looking for inside grows then itll be big organised grows capable of producing enough heat to stand out (probaly a couple thousand watts at least) an average 400-600w light is barely more powerful then anything household.

outside grows im not sure, its not like they have a computer scan for plants so i assume itll be just looking out on likely places people would grow, which would be easy enough to spot since the plants cant be covered by trees etc blocking light

outdoors they have infra-red which can detect plants that put out high heat like mary. But I think this is only a problem if you live in a place where you don't have tropical plants therefore the mary will stick out like a sore thumb under infra-red. As for as spotting, that depends on how slow and how high or low they fly and if they are looking for that in particular. I've been on many many choppers and it's hard to spot anything when flying high and fast.

what he said plus you have to have a bunch all together to make it easy to spot if u have 3-4 here and 4-5 their i dont think they'll spot'em

It's unconstitutional to use Infra Red to scan a house. You just have to worry about outside :P

lol, you think the american government gives a shit if its unconstitutional or not? watch discovery channel it shows them scanning houses. But I know someone who was talking to a guy who flies the planes that use the infrared sensors to find plants, and he said that if you plant em 20 feet apart each then they wont be picked up, plus sperating them makes it harder for theifs to steal your entire crop.

dont quote me on this, but i dont think that it is possable to scan a house with infered cmon will ya, i now the world has come far in tecno stuff, but scannin houses with infared tools just dosnt sit well with me 2 much enemy off the state crap if u ask me.:cool:

I saw a program some time back where they did fly over houses and could tell if it was a grow room or not just by the heat. You could see the shapes of people, stove, TV and the grow lights and room. This was sometime back before they stopped allowing scanning. Infact I think the program I saw was why they were stopping the scanning, you could see the outline of people moving around... Invasion of privacy
