Both are great bong making links. If you don't want to buy a bowl to stick in the top (probobly why you want to make one in the first place) you can "borrow" the top of a salt shaker from a restaurant and turn it upside down. Not sure on the saftey of the metal used to make it, but if you just set your lighter up to it for a while, it should burn all the really nasty chemicals off the top. Be sure tip well as you are ripping them off.

...you can use high quality sockets from socket wrench sets too (you can use lower quality also i just can't verify the saftey of them) but the higher quality ones are made out of safe things to use to smoke out of.....i'd be best if it had never been used before that way you don't have no icky stuff on it.....
