When getting a dog

Should i get a lady...or a male? Does the different genders make a difference in how they act? O ya im talking about a pitbull mainly, if there are certain traits the genders have please list em. Thanx

male dogs are more playfull i think.... well my dog sure is lol.

and female dogs seem more iteligent and male dogs seem doppy and funny :p

Female Pittbulls tend to be a bit more terratoral than The Males.
But with training they Both Make great Guard dogs and compainons..
we Have a 65kg Patrics/jeep/sorrels Male and when Im away He sleeps in the bed with my girlfreind..
He's a Huge Sook.
But with a Command he gets all heckled up and into Guard mode..

my aunt breeds dogs, from her telling me, females are more loyal, a male is known more to run away from the scent of a female, and females are more loving, i have a female, and she is the best dog, so lovable, will lay on feet while doing dishes, always wants to be near u. males are good dogs too, dont get me wrong i had a male be4 too, but from my experiences and aunt telling me, females are the way to go.

males are known to be better guard dogs, if u are looking for that, females can be too, but males are more. females are more devoted family dogs

hes realy big and can get angry if messed with, so i think if somone broke in he would ripp him apart. even tho he is as good as gold if you dont fuck with him lol.

get a female first. Males will be more likely to fight over a bitch and bitch's obviously just sit there. and Im serious. Even nuterd males will go berserk over a female dog in heat. and even though they don't fight spay it to get rid of some chromosomes no bitch needs. They will also be about ten pounds lighter and much easier to handle. I typical american pit bull bitch weighs around 40 pounds while male's are permitted to get to 60

I'd go with female pitbulls. But if you're buying one they ain't cheap. more then the males

ok, IMO when gettign ANY pet, you want a female. they are cleaner and they do not piss all over the place.

I will never own a male dog. They piss on the car tiers too much. I have shot many a dogs peckers with my pellet gun for pissing on my car.

Same with cats.
