Best Pink Floyd Album.
Ok, i don't usually make threads, infact i don't remember if i've even made one before lol. Well, Pink Floyd is my fav. band, and i know this board has some Floyd fans. I'm just sitting here listening to Floyd and was wondering what everyone thought is their best album. I have a feeling most people are going to say Darkside or The Wall because they're the most mainstream albums. However, i know some people will know about true Floyd, old school Floyd, which i think are their best albums. Personally, my fav. album is More, then Obscured by Clouds and then probably Division Bell. Man there's so many and all of them are so damn amazing lol. Anyway, post away if you wish...

My favorite Floyd??? Man, That's a tough question. I guess it's Animals, especially the song Dogs. Dark Side, Wish, and Meddle are pretty close though. More is really great too. There's one song (can't rememer the name) that starts out with a big cymbal roll and then just gets real funky, no singing just instrumental, definitely one of my top favorite Floyd tunes. Oh yeah, the first disc of Umaguma, the old live stuff, is great.

Oh yeah, anyone ever seen the movie Live At Pompei? Old school stuff . '72-'73 Floyd playing at the ruins of Pompei. Smoke a fatty and pop that in the DVD. You won't regret it.

Animals. Those songs are so long (or short) they never get worn out by the radio stations. Remains classic.
