Second Grow and off to a good start

Well, I am closing in on the end of my first grow and have decided to get the second grow started. Here is the plan

Lights: 400 Watts Tube Flour. for Veg & 400 Watts HPS for Flowering
Time: Veg-20/4 & Flower-12/12
Soil: Scotts Premium Indoor Potting Soil & 40% Perlite
Seed: Local Grower hooked me up with great seeds (The weed was awsome)

Currently I am in day 31 in 20/4 Vegitative growth. I did low stress training on the last crop and was happy with results so I started these on LST around day 22.

Plan on going to larger pot soon and will veg for about 2 more weeks before switching to 12/12. Also, I just took a clone from each one today and get those started in the water cloning process, I will take a few more in a week or so.

Any questions or tips would be appricated and I am going to try and update every few days for anyone who would like to see the progress.

Heck yea we'd like to see more pics. (gives the DEA more to choose from and lessens all of our odds...) :) :) :)

They look tuff and ragged all tie down like that...But that is the way it is done.

This second grow was started with 6 plants. I have been reading the boards for the last 4 months and there seems to be a lot of debate over topping plants. For this grow I am going to top 2 of my 6 plants and see how the grow progresses. I want to see if there is a noticeable difference between topped plants vs. non-topped plants. Also will be able to note the yield vs. quality of the two grow methods. At this point I am leaning tward not topping mainly because I am interested in quality and am growing only for persnal use. However, the only way to know for sure it to try both and review the results.

I am going to continue the Low Stress Training (LST). My plan is to get the main stem to wrap around in a circle and train all nodes to grow up. This should produce a bush type plant with many growth nodes.

This is only my second grow however if you have any questions or tip for me I would be happy to help. Will post more pictues in a day or so!

The topping wont affect the potency of the bud either way.

Just avoid topping in the 3rd or 4th week when the sex is finalized. Stress from topping can induce males hermies at that state.
