Help! Getting Resin Out of One-Hitter
Behind the bowl, at the end of the stem, I can't seem to get this resin buildup out. D you heat it up with a lighter, then run a paper through, and smoke the paper w/resin on it, or is there something good I can use to scrape this moist resin? Paper clip just ain't working out.

Can you go into more detail? Boiling? How does that get the resin out?

..i wouldn't worry about that..best method i've found is to heat it up real good and stick a nug through and that should collect it...or a rollin paper will work fine too...but be prepared for some serious harshnesss

Itll be really harsh to smoke alone but like slipknotpsycho said stick a bud through it and itll coat the bud.
or
use isopropylene ( 99% alcohol) found at your drugstore ( MAKE SURE ITS 99% !!)
and run a small amount through or soak it in there and once its cleaned out put the liquid onto a small plate and let it evaporate naturally. You will have nothing left but pure resin once its fully evaporated. The more you use the longer you wait.

Are you talking about the little bat type one-hitters? Some even look like cigs? I don't know how you'd ever get a bud through one of those, the hole is just too small. I always get a wire clothes hanger (just about the right size to go through the one hitter) and cut it so I have a good straight piece. Heat up the wire with a lighter and push it through. You should have the resin built up at the end. Save the resin to smoke and then if you want the hitter sparkling clean soak it in alcohol like FunkeyMonkey said.

I actually broke down a very little nug to stick into it and it worked like a charm. I've always used alcohol and q-tips for cleaning, though.
