Electro conductivity world wide
Hello, i bought an electro conductivity meter to apreciate the amount of nutes in the water. The value goes from 0 to 2, 2 being a very rich nute solution. Do you know this kind of unity. What the link between ppm and this kind of european EC meter. Like the link between celsius and fareneight, any conversion rule to be able to understand the EC values in this forum ?
Thanks

ppm is about half of ec readings. If you have an ec reading of 1.0 its about 500ppm. Usually meters that read ec go alot higher than 2.0.

Yes, it goes higher than 2 but i never had so much nutes.

EC is the standard, i think you can find some info on ppm to EC on the hanna webpage, PPM is different for Hanna, Oakton, Milwaukee, etc, all based on accuracy!

Actually itâ??s mathematic. The good meters do the math for you. The accuracy is based on the calibration of the meter.
