watering question?
Get yourself a Good BackPack Waterer...
They Use them for Spraying weeds.
I have Mine In the ground and Providing you give them a Good Soak every second day theyll Be fine..
It Really depends on how good the Drainage is of the soil.
You dont want water sitting in the bottom Of the Hole Because that will Create Root Rot.
I Give Mine about 4 ltrs Of water (In the afternoons).
every second day.

watering question?
that sucks about no water source.... um, you could always use dehydrated water.. :) but seriously, ur gonna have to find a better place or visit often and water them often. I grow about 20 feet away from a stream and i just fill up a camoflauged drip bucket (just a small pin sized hole on the bottom) with water and set it by my plants and let gravity work it's magic.. OH YEAH! DUH, just use some of that water gel stuff... shit can't think of the name, but it's like these plastic pellets that swell in water and hold water, they become kinda jelly and just mix it in with the soil after you've soaked it and that should keep the roots moist, I got it at wal mart i think..
