How are the police where you are?

I dunno about you guys, but where I am the cops have WAY too much time on thier hands, so they spend all thier time parked in some dark corner waiting for some speeder. If anything, and I do mean anything, happens, then there are like 10 cops there, even if they are just busting some fool for probation violation. They love to pull suspicious (in other words, black) people over and try to get them to let them search the car.

However, once I get away from the 'burbs into Atlanta, the cops suddenly become much more cool. I remember an almost-collision with a downtown ATL cop, and we are all drunk and high and had some weed, he just came to window and said "be more careful next time", didnt even check the license. I think it's because he has thinks like shootings and crack-smokers to worry about.

How are the cops in your area? Are they assfuckers, or are they cool?

The cops suck here like everywhere. The San Francisco Bay area has close to 6 million people though so they're usually too busy to be lurking in dark corners. Plus forget it if you really need one. A few years back I opened the door to my folks house but my Mom forgot I was coming and had chained the door. She had set the alarm and since I couldn't get in to turn it off it sent a signal directly to the police. Eventually I figured out a way to pop the chain and get it. It wasn't until an hour or so later, however, as I was leaving, that a cop finally pulled up. Shit man, that much later, what's the point?

Had varying experiences with the police, sometimes there all right, in a cop kinda way!, sometimes their power and control freaks.

I had 2 turn my house over one time and they tried a good cop/bad cop routine on me. it was funny as fcuk!!

here 95% of the cops are a fuckin pain

cops wher going to put me in jail I was on a lunch break from school I was 18 yrs old. It was over a 5$ parking ticket. fucking handcuffed me and everything. Once I got to the station I had to give them 50$, it kept them from inpounding me. Never did get the $50 back. North Dakota = pig haven.

did you know you can be overqualified to be a cop.kinda fucked up but makes sence the achievers might make it un-corrupted. :cool:
