concerta: ingestion question

has anyone ever had any experience with concerta? i guess it is one of the new adderall/ritilin replacements. i got two 54mg tablets yesterday .. i took one by mouth in the morning.. and that is before i figured out they are time released.. all that did was wake me up a bit but i got really no buzz.. then i waited until after school and crushed the other one.. i was going to snort it but i couldnt get it crushed the entire way.. once i got it broken up the outside covering came off (what im guessing makes it time release) and then there were two gray hard clumps inside that almost looked like rocks.. and then a little clump of white powder which im assuming was the actual pill (i have no idea what those gray things were.. anyone have any ideas?) anyway.. i couldnt get them crushed down enough to snort them so i had to eat it..

so right now my best method of ingestion is crushing it into tiny hard chunks and then throwing them back really quick.. has anyone had any experience with this pill or have any ideas on how ingestion could be easier with a good buzz (getting around the time release thing)?
