I don't know if it is or not, but ANYTHING that comes from the bongwater probably isn't all that great.

No. It's not honey oil. It will get you high though with enough of it.

Run butane thru cannabis and whats left is over 90% THC crystals- Honey Oil.
what you have from bong water would be resin maybe.
i dont know- i tip my water every session for health- old bong water can be full of bugs and bacteria and shit.
may get you high though.

that's mostly other chemicals and stuff in the pot that are water soluable...thc isn't the only chemical in the smoke that gets you high, and it's not water soluable besides that....some of it does get mechanically stuck in that water, but it's mostly tar and other chemicals from the smoke...and they get you high too just not as good as thc

Yep, butane extraction produces what is commonly called honey oil.
I have, after years of trying to come up with some palateable (sp?) way to smoke the resin, come to the conclusion that including it in with the leaf matter when doing a butane extraction is about the only way. Its kind of labor intensive because it needs to be powder dry, but i hate the idea of wasting that thc. Unfortunely I hate smoking it in the conventional way even more. ;)
edited to add that the resin I use comes from the stem of my bong and the plant matter that gets pulled through into the water.
Shes right THC is not water soluble.
