Ok, me and my friend were talking about me gettign ready to start growing.
He asked "I wonder what would happen if you used black light to grow?"
I said "I don't know but I will ask everyone online."
So, does anyone know what would happen?

Dude think about it, does the blacklight replicate the suns rays? NO, so how would it be good to use to grow. When u are looking for lights you want to go for the highest Lumens possible, and lowest heat output. I would suggest you go to like a Home Depot or somethin and buy some good large Flourecants to start out with.
one uv light for x hours a day probably wouldn't hurt along with a bright white light...it would be a good experiment...do one under just uv light, one under uv + white light...hell i might try it myself, i got bag seeds to waste...

hehe I used a black light for the first sort of succesful plant I ever grew, It got 2 feet tall and started flowering, but it developed sacks and turned male, so I say hell ya, give it a try, my plant survived for a long time, untill I killed it.
