hps or fluro??

i still cant decide what hind of lighting to go for, would i be better off with 2 fluros or a 250w hps??i want to use either one of these for the whole growth of the plant, :confused:

whats this i hear about having to put lamps at the side of plants after 2 weeks?wats that about? :p

does anybody know how much size the hps takes up coz they look very big and im goin to be growing my 2 plants in as small a cabinet as possible,maybe only 2 foot long and 3 foot high,will a hps light fit in there??

if not then ill have to use two 2ft fluro lights,is this ok for good buds?? :confused: THANK YOU

hps is defenatly better,but i think that in so small space you should use fluoros,or maybe hps with very good ventilation. note that fluros dont give good buds.if possible use bigger space for your plants

hps hands down.......i use compact floros but only for vegg..get the lights as close to plant as u can careful not to burn the leafs ( make sure they arnt touchin the bulb but can be really close ) i dont have an hps but i do have a 400 mh that i flower with.....vegg with compacts man....go to home depo and get the ones that have the highest price and light output ( lumens ) an example....i got mine from home depo ...the bulbs were like 9 bucks apeace )....you can get a simular bulb from walmart for 8 bucks and i think it has a few hundred more lumens...
