is anybody familiar with DVLA testing procedures
My partner receiver a fitness to drive form through the mail & in it was 2 pages full of questions on drug use. They claim to have received information from a 3rd party. When I have looked for information on testing procedure I never find posts from people who have been in the same predicament. They almost always have been caught previously for drug use.He has never been banned for drug driving. So I need to ask if anybody here has been Drug tested by the DVLA & what protocols they follow. I assume they supervise & if so how closely? Can you fake the test? He is a heavy smoker so even if we have a few weeks he is unlikely to clear his system. He did manage to supply his doctor with a sample in preparation for this that was "clean" courtesy of a friend. I am really out of ideas so any information would be greatly appreciated. I mean in theory can the really proceed with a medical if everything with the doctor checks out? Thanks in advance.
