Serious grow tent / molasses regiment question

I have an Apollo 4x2x5 grow tent with a 600 watt Apollo dimmable ballast with both 600 watt MH and HPS bulbs also a 6" blower fan with speed controller is on the way. Is it ok to run the light at 75% as opposed to 100% and should I hang the light at the very top of the tent and eliminate the ratchet ropes? Also, how often should I give molasses to plants? I was thinking once a week but not sure. Thanks.:cool:

Ok good. What about the other part? It was a two parter. And I do not need an exhaustive explanation of how good molasses is. Just want to know if once a week, 1/4 tbsp. to 16-20 oz of water is ok. Easy enough.

I just read that whole thing looking for the same answer…..*yawn* - a little more info than I wanted….

What I took away from it though is that about 1 tablespoon per gallon every 3rd-4th watering, so that could be once a week or twice a week depending on how often you are having to water…..

Oh yeah- because of growth issues and heat not such a good idea to keep any left overs unless you really want to get technical- probably good for the septic tank too ;)

If you use molasses too much or too strong; it can coat the roots too much. Not helpful.
The molasses helps the soil more than the roots.

I use 1 Tbsp per gallon, only late late flowering. I seems to help bulk the buds up.

Now THOSE are some amazing bud's!! Those Cola's are absolutely crazy....I have never seen main cola's like that before.

Yeah there can be such a thing as a little too much info. Molasses being optional possibly much like the ropes I asked about as well and haven't heard anything about. I guess some serious selective ADD kicked in. Find a strain for that.

1 tbl spoon Molasses twice week in Veg, mix 1 tbl spoon with nutes per gallon in flower and I use it every 3rd day. Leave your ropes and use them as intended. Use the back of your hand to determine optimal height from plants....too warm for your hand? Too warm for the plants. 75% light for youngsters being introduced to the stronger light, than crank it up.
