Pre-Employment Mouth Swab!!

Ok so I took the mouth swab drug test today for my pre employment. My big worry is this, I have been clean for 48 hours but I had brushed my teeth so much I made them pretty raw, I got a little bit of blood on my swab. Can the saliva test also test the blood on the swab? Am I ok or fucked?

na man they test cheek cells for thc content never heard of em taking the FEW blood cells and testing that...i feel like this would be a costly idea..now they might tell ya if you got aids or something lol...form my experience they are pretty shitty tests..unless you pine all day every day for years and take it the next day...how much do you smoke how much etc...your leaving some crucial variables out to give you a better idea...not to be a smart ass homie but if you knew you had a test to take why not study (aka quit puffin) im no scientist but ive had my fair share of drug tests but i may be wrong...my two cheap cents..best of luck hope you pass brotherin

Nah homie I applied there online and the next morning I got a call while I was smoking a blunt haha, they initially wanted me to come in that same day and I rescheduled for at least 48 hours in between. I smoke a lot and have been for about a year, I however have never failed a drug test (Knock on wood) I did clean my mouth constantly and that's what caused my gums to be a little raw and get blood on the test. I was just worried the test would read the blood and I thought blood goes back a long ways. Not sure though.

Want to hear how you did, have daughter finishing nursing school. Is actually second quessing her choice of profession because of drug testing.

oral swabs tend to be on the cheaper side of the gammit when it comes to testing....they probably are doing it for insurance reasons to say your clean...if you scrubbed where you sabbed really well and gave 48 hours clearance....im leaning towards you being alright...but im not expert in the subject...i know this is always the most worrisome part...whats the job for, like what kinda industry

Thanks man that's what i'm saying I even gargled with peroxide. Its nothing big haha its grocery industry to be a night stocker. The lady interviewing me is a family friend and basically told me I had the job, but I don't know how it will be affected with the drug test.

I passed! Ive been workin for about a week now! Just wanted to let everybody know!
