how long does it take for dxm to kick in

I ate around 4 hours ago, I downed 2 ounces of 15 mg syrup (~174 mg dxm, aiming for first plateau, this being my first attempt) 45 minutes ago and I'm not feeling anything. How long does this stuff usually take to start working?

1.25 hours now... besides feeling nauseous a couple times... I'm not really feeling it. I think I may be slightly buzzed but I can't really tell.

Well its 2 hours in and I'm still a bit buzzed, and I just drank another ounce. Hopefully this will produce some effects. That's ~261 mg of dxm. Maybe this thread belongs in another section, but I don't care :p

I guess this has kinda turned into more of a report, that stuff finally kicked in and I only got to the first plateau off 3 ounces :/. I'll up the dosage next time.

Listening to music was quite fun, even at the first plateau I could sometimes "see" the music if I closed my eyes.

Hey Halcy0n, the perfect trip for me is between 400 mgs. and 600 mgs. and i weigh 145 lbs. this just gets me to the point where all the colors and sounds are alot more vivid and you get the feeling like your walking on clouds I.E. Cloud Hopping. Playing video games while listening to some rap with a great beat are by far the best things you can do while tripping at this level. So try a little more get a good video game, some good music and prepare to have a great time. Peace

I tried 537mg my first time, 500-600 is great for first timers in my opinion. That's wut I do from now on. I then tried 900mg (60 pills) my 2nd time. Never do that till I'm older again. That was too extreme, I hallucinated for 6 hours straight.

Talk about seeing a firepit going on ur bedroom floor and feeding it "wood" which turned out to be sweatshirts when I woke up. :rolleyes:

Ive taken over 600mg on my first time and got really fucked up.... not hallucinating tho, just really lightheaded and feeling of being drunk but with a slight high of weed, I guess i did have slight visual changes too.... it feels real good.... took bout 45min to kick in

174 mg is nothing,buy some Delsym...

yeah delsym is waht i used, but its so gross after you use it like 2 times, just thinking of it makes me gag.

What are you talkin about Delsym tastes like Mountain Dew Livewire, and Delsym contains DXM Polisterix so after your done with the syrup you have to rinse out the bottle(preferrably with orange Dew) to get the rest of the DXM out cuz it clings to the bottom. Peace
