Hair Follicle Testing and the occasional user, my experience

A little background on me. I am a light, occasional user, no more than once a month. I do however hang out with two friends every Saturday to watch sports who will toke regularly through the day both on j's and bongs.

For pre-employment I am required to take a hair follicle test in the next week, so to ease my mind I went to a private testing center last week to get both urine and hair follicle tests done before the real test.

Short hair, 1.5 inches or so, not buzzed
Slow metabolism
51 days since last hit when test was taken. Probably 3-4 total hits in 90 day window

I wasn't worried about the urine test, but the lab threw it in cheap with a hair test, so I did it anyways. I decided to take a risk and not do any cleanse with my hair whatsoever. The urine test was "instant" and of course was clean. The hair test came back in two days negative.

So, for anyone freaking out about the hair test who is a very light user, I can say from my experience that time off and light use are both your friends. Additionally, I think those worried about contact exposure for the hair test can rest easy.
