Please help! trying too get the correct temp on urine screen. Alot riding on it!

[align=left]Hello, first off id like to start by saying ive read a lot of info on here and everywhere else but id like too lay out my circumstances and what happened because its alittle different. Im in a clinic where I get a random urine once a month. I slipped up 2 weeks ago and still need about 6 days before im totally clean again and I could get the test any day.

I have tried my method a few times it worked the first two times and didn't the next two and I don't know what I did wrong. the first two times I didn't even check the temp and I passed, but the 2nd two times I did and failed so ill lay out the last time I tried and how I did it.

so I have clean urine that I heat up in the microwave in the morning before I go (I know gross). I heat it in a regular orange pill bottle and then wrap it in paper towels for the drive. by the time I get too my clinic it is still more then hot enough. I brought a thermometer with me and checked the temp every minute till it was at around 98 degrees I did not touch the plastic of the bottle just dipped it in the urine. the time between pouring it into the urine sample cup couldn't have been more then 3-4 mins and these sample cups do not have a temp meter on the side the nurse checks the temp with a touch thermometer when u bring it up too her by touching the bottom of the cup. needless too say my urine did not temp correctly and I failed.

My question is what did I do wrong? was it too hot or too cold? I figure at 98 degrees it couldn't have dropped lower then 90 by the time I handed it in could it have? or maybe the cup change was a big drop? or was it still too hot because it felt more then warm enough too me before handing it in!? Anyway this is really important I have a lot riding on this test and I know the right thing too do is be clean and I am trying, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!
