test is tomorrow.. what do yall think????
Ok, here's the skinny.. I haven't smoked a thing since September 16th. I have been clean for 47 days. Before then I barely smoked a bowl a day for maybe 6-7 months. I have taken numerous home tests (10-12 of them), with cutoff levels of 50ng.. All of which I have passed, with several of them being first voids of the day. I have a pre-employment urine test tomorrow. I weigh 110 lbs with very high metabolism. My greatest fear is that the lab test is different from the home tests.. Although everybody says I'm fine if I have passed all these home tests, I'm still very nervous. Am I golden? thoughts?
Thanks!!!

So do you think there is any chance that I won't pass? It's kind of a situation where my family works for the company I'm getting hired for, so if I fail, they find out... Which would be bad on so many levels!! So I'm really freaking out about it... But tomorrow will be my 50th day of being clean...

If all of your home tests show a negative with the first-mornings urine, youre good to go.
If not, then consider finding a clean person and sub if passing this test is of any real importance to you. Employment-related U/As are unobserved unless you had been suspected of tampering.

Thank you.. All of my first void tests have been negative.. Sometimes line has been fainter than others but I understand it still means its negative.. Test is in 2 hours, I've already took another test this am with my first void, passed it as well. I'm drinking water too just in case. How much water is too much to where they would consider it dilute and fail me?

Without knowing what your "baseline" creatinine and S/G levels were before the water consumption, theres no telling. And you are not going to know these either. Not without testing your creatinine and S/G with a validity test strip (before and after the water consumption).

Ok took the test.. Void was pale yellow... I had to go bad, mainly because I had sit in the lobby for 2 hours before they finally called me back.. I voided midstream.. I had drank a total of about 2 small bottles of water beforehand (meaning from the time of 6:00am when I woke up until 8:50am when I got to the lobby) and urinated 4 times before the actual test within that time frame as well. They called me back to urinate in the cup around 10:45am. If it comes back dilute-negative is it an automatic fail? Or is that determined by the company hiring me?

Thats depends on the employer. In pre-employment situations, some employers may grant a retest while others may accept the negative-diluted as a 'hunky dory'. Still, others may simply move on to the next candidate for hire.

Thank you, you're very informative.. The paper that the lab gave me had both HHS and DOT checked as methods of drug test.. What do you know about that? Any idea what the cutoff levels for thc would be? They split my void into two vials.. Thanks again for all of this information..

That just means you'll be taking a DOT-regulated test. The testing process is regulated by the US Department of Transportation. With DOT-regulated testing, there are regulations and protocols that must be adhered to by all individuals in participation. The regulations themselves are found here: Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs | Department of Transportation

This is mandatory on all DOT specimen collections. DOT requires only 45ml of urine sample. The sample is then split 30/15 (into bottle A and bottle B) and both are sent off to a lab. Bottle A gets analyzed while bottle B is put into storage. If bottle A is confirmed positive for a particular drug(s), and the donor decides to mount a challenge to the results, then bottle B gets tested.
Edit: Since youve just pointed out that your test was DOT, here is the regulation outlining what an employer is to do when s/he receives a "diluted" result:
