CLONING AND KEEPING THE PLANT SMALL?
I TOOK CUTTINGS FROM A FEMALE AND THEY ROOTED GOOD (ALL OF THEM) BUT THEY NEVER BRANCHED OUT, NEVER GOT MORE THAN 14 TO 18 INCHES TALL AND WEIGHED ABOUT 1/4 POUND EACH.ONLY ONE BUD PER PLANT. I LIKE THIS BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT STAGE OF GROWTH THAT THE FEMALE WAS WHEN I TOOK THE CUTTINGS . CAN SOMEONE HELP?

I TOOK THE CUTTINGS , PLANTED THEM IN PEATMOSS CUPS ,SOAKED THEM DOWN ,PUT THEM IN THE SHADE FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS , THEY TOOK ROOT , BUT WHEN THEY GROWED THEY ONLY GROWED ONE BUD STRAIGHT UP ,ABOUT A 1/4 POUND EACH .... THE QUESTION IS I NEED TO KNOW WHEN TO TAKE THE CUTTING TO REPRODUCE THIS, AND KEEP IT SMALL

Oh.
There is no easily answerable question here.
If you mean when in the plants vegging cycle to take a cutting, that will have little effect on height or branching.
Though if you take them when they first start branching alternately, they will go into flower more readily and there should be less side branching.
If you mean when, as in what time of year, that would depend on your location, and your strain, for an accurate answer.
But, I can advise.
If you take a cutting and put it in the shade.
What will have the most effect on it's morphology, is the ratio of day to night, starting at the moment of cutting.
If the nights are long, the plant can stay in veg and get quite tall.
If the nights are 12 hours or less, most cannabis will start to flower.
They will just about double their height, so If you want 18" colas, start with 9" cuttings.
If you want a single, cola per plant, just keep the terminal bud intact.
It's the natural path, Cannabis generally stops making side branches when it goes hard into flower.
No topping or fimming and you should get what you want.
The rest depends on your momma plant's genetics.
If she actually yields 1/4 pound from a single 18" "lollypop", hang on to her.
That is an incredible yield! (He exclaimed incredulously).

that doesn't sound right.

I agree, you should be showing us how you manage this, that is some unbelievable growing.
Typing in all capitol letters is like yelling, it's not very nice. Welcome banjo.

Sorry about the caps...... If you want a single, cola per plant, just keep the terminal bud intact. What does this mean? The ones that i grew wasn't a 1/4 lb.,but that's what i was told they could get. it does sound to good to be true..

Mea culpa.
Meant to type 12 hours or more of course.
