never tried it, but i would say that it would help 'cause they break up the soil, which would keep it draining well.
From what ive read its very beneficial for the plants. But you do know that there are already pre-mixes of soils with earthworm castings? It may attract bugs, but that can be easily contained. Practically all my grows contained soils with earthworm castings and bat guano, and all turned out great! I would highly recommend it for any level of grow. hope this helped!
I think he wants live worms
I myself am going to try it
Live worms need something to eat, and normally it's the decomposed (or decomposing) plant matter they go after. They break it down, and shit out the result, punching little holes all through your soil. Also, they don't eat living tissue, so your plants don't get harmed. Earth worms are a farmer's best friend.
I would doubt that even a single one would have enough to eat in anything smaller than a ten gallon drum, and if the soil dries out, they die.
Agree'd so, the question is not if it'll be safe or not... the question is, how do you keep em alive?Quote:

i guess that would be a good idea man.
well using dead plant matter from outside is no good. BUGS
If the worm dies, good for your plant in the long run
Maybe a few worms,3 to 5 sometime in flowering
