tested positive, need some help

I really need some help also....took a piss test last Wed on the 2nd of oct....got a call yesterday the 8th of Oct saying i failed with a positive for weed...they said i passed the cutoff level of 50 ng with a 51 and some change if i can remember but i know it was a 51 ng....have the option to pay for a retest....@ another facility but will have to pay $200.00....should i do it and is there a big difference between the 50 and 51....Help me someone please with some advice

if you really want this job pay for it and buy quickfix. i got mine for $22 for a 3oz bottle

they are not gonna let me retest they are gonna use my split sample to test again...

ohhh okay yea im no proffesional to know anything about NG levels maybe a moderator would soon reply and help

If you were provided a quantitative value (in your case, 51 ng/ml), then the GC/MS test was performed, which has a cutoff threshold of 15 ng/ml. The 50 ng test is an assay-type screen. Assays only yield "PASS/FAIL"-type results and have no ability to yield a quantitative value.

I'm no expert but I'm thinking if another place tests the same urine the other tested, in which you failed the test, they will also fail you again as it's the same urine as before that the other place tested. Unless I'm missing something or not understanding your question, I wouldn't pay $200 when the urine they're going to test will produce a dirty urine result which you already know since it was already tested elsewhere. Are you hoping the quality of the test of the other place won't be as good and it won't measure as high or something? Sounds to me you should continue looking for a job elsewhere and buy some synthetic urine for the next p-test.
