Gotta have a timer
It is very important periods of time, you should use the clock. In the Growshop, I have recommended using 18 hours in the vegetative phase
I thought unless you had auto seeds it was 24 hours for veg then 12/12 for flower.
it's debatable. 24 or 18 hours of veg light. I go 24 hours for early seedlings sometime and then 18/6.
Debates rage on. Think it's personal preference when it comes to timing & vegetation stage. Bottom line is you/we try to mimic natural conditions so 18/6 will work or 24/7 (my personal preference). As for flipping a switch or a timer...... well spend the 10$ & grab a cheapo timer cuz humans are way more flawed than timers leaving little chance for error.
True cheap thing to not get and worry bout lol
He's not asking about veg, he's doing 24/0 now and wants to know if he should buy a timer after he flips, of course he should
I'm sorry I made a comment out of the context of the original question. I just wanted to share that 24 hours of light is not necessarily the only lighting schedule for veg, as I wasn't sure if he realized that. In the future I'll be more careful to answer any questions as asked and nothing further, Bone. Thank you for pointing out the error of my ways.Quote:
