I have been a believer in the benefits of Cannabis for over Fifty Years, (I am 75). I am also a Retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer and was a member of the elite 1% bracket of technicians in the Navy. I held a spotless record, retired out with honors and have never looked back. I have never been arrested or had any problems with the law over cannabis or any other drug, including alcohol of which I do not partake of and haven't for over 20 years. I have excelled in everything I have ever done and never once have I considered changing my ideas on anything I believe strongly in. Cannabis has saved my life more than once. I am a Cancer survivor, both skin and colon cancers, the colon had a meter and 5 cm removed. I have had 3 operations on skin cancers and after using hemp oil, I have had no more returns of that malady on my face, head and neck. I was operated on last year and had my prostate removed. I lost 16 kilos and had dropped below a hundred lbs and my Gastro interologist had me on Fortimel, but nothing seemed to cause me to regain the weight that I had lost. I managed by hook and by crook to get my hands on a vaporizer and as my asthma is really bad, i couldn't smoke cannabis any longer and to grow here is a dangerous occupation even at my age, I couldn't get enough volume to use in brownies or other edibles, I decided to vaporize. I have now gained back 5 kilos in the past 4 months and things are beginning to look promising.

I am planning on planting this summer (Nov. and Dec.) and only hope that I can put together enough plants to medicate myself for a few months. Prices here are out of sight, but I am not planning on selling to anyone. I do NOT want to deal, I want to provide for myself and try to spend the few years I have left, being able to take care of myself and also to continue with my Photography and other things I love to do.

I see I have a lot of catchin' up to do, so you will see me lurking and reading and learning, and hopefully I will be posting also.

The photo that I am posting below, is the Northwest end of Raiatea, I live just off the end of the runway, if you look closely, you will see 3 small boats next to the land just off the land side of the runway end. Those are our boats and our houses, most every one here is family related. But when you been living on an island for almost a thousand years, your neighbors begin to be your family....
