So how tall should my indica plant should be if I want it to be short and bushy? And is short and bushy getting less yield? If so could I some how make it grow on the ground like a watermelon plant?...idk, I'm just trying to throw some stuff out there but here's a picture of my plant..is it too short? And will it even make bud? I've found 1 paired pistol..idk if it's in flowering stage or what..
Ok, Noob at this, but from what I've been reading from others' experience, you 1) have a girl, and 2) it will produce bud no matter the size.
Only thing is the size does LIMIT the amount of usable product you get from the plant.
Your plant looks to me to be a similar size currently to many plants that are put in the Sea of Green (SOG) method. She will still gain some height and size to her, but she's not going to do much. She's too big to top/pinch for size, but there are some training methods to bring her into lateral growth some more for better production if overhead lighting is your only option.
For my current (first) grow experience, I'm deciding I'll get what I can get and learn from there. But if you want a bigger plant, put lights on 24 hours per day until she's the size you want in veg state and expect her to double in size while she's making buds. :) Good luck - she looks VERY healthy!
you can grow horizontally just bend it to one side and keep the top bud below the main part of the plant by tying down and it will grow the lower branches into tops so you end up with a row of buds.
