Drug test question

So I am a heavy smoker until about three months ago. Since then I have only smoking one hits. twenty one days ago I quit smoking for a job interview. I have the final interview tomorrow. I could be taking the drug test as early as friday or as late as monday if I am given the position. I have taken four at home drug tests over the course of three weeks (starting at the two week mark). All have come back negative. I understand that the wal greens brand tests are 50 NG/ML.

How do my chances look?

I am 5'11 and about 190 lbs.

When you took those four home tests, did you use the first void of the day for each testing session?

No, I did not. About mid day. I have always wondered what is the accuracy of the first void of the day? I understand its because particulates are at there most concentrated. But no one uses the first void on an actual Urinary Test, from what I understand.

Is it worth buying another one to use on the first void of a day? I also have been told pissing mid stream on the test its self will be helpful.

Anytime you test yourself, you should always use the first void of the day when THCA concentrations would be at their highest. Taking the test during the latter parts of the day skews the results due to fluid consumption that occurs during the normal course of the day. The fluid consumption dilutes the THCA concentration to where a urine sample can register a negative on an assay. This dilution phenomena is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine and thus the donor is right back to square one.

By using the first void, you are testing yourself under the "worst-case scenario". If youre consistently testing negative under that "worst-case scenario", youre good to go. :thumbsup:

And youre not going to use the first void for the actual U/A - unless you have been consistently testing negative with the first void to where youre comfortable at submitting the first void on the day of the U/A.

A person who had tested negative with the 5th void of the day on a 4 PM home test on Tuesday in no way, shape, or form means that the person will test negative with the 5th void on 4 PM the next day. The human body is not some kind of electronic machine operating on fixed settings (thank god for that!). THCA concentrations fluctuate day by day - something that is evident whenever fluid consumption is involved.

Appreciate the advise. Hopefully when I take the test I will be at about the 25 day mark. I am pretty confident, given the fact that I have not had one positive result. If I had one i'd be concerned. Ill buy a test tomorrow after the interview and do my first void of Friday.

Given the fact that you have not used the first void for those tests, I would save the feeling of confidence until after youve racked up a couple of negatives with the first void.

Took your advise and did first void. Just as negative as the rest of them. Peed directly into the cup. Got the job offer and my test is Monday before 1 PM. So I am going to wake up early to pee a bunch of times before just in case.

Ok. Test is tomorrow. All still negative. Have to take test by 1 PM so I am waking up at 7:30 AM to pee a few times first. My girlfriend and I took at home tests. She is the control because she has never smoked before. Here is the image. Hers is on the left and mine is on the right:

Bump. Took the test on Monday. Have not heard anything else yet. Would have loved some more opinions.... but I appreciate Burnt Toast's advice.
