Dilution Success Story - I followed the Sticky

I thought I would share with you my success story of how I passed my drug test for pre-employment using the dilution method sticky. First, a little background on me, I'm 6' 155-160 lbs and I have a good metabolism. I also run about a mile everyday/every other day. I smoked heavily for roughly 5+ years up until April 2013. I took all of April off and smoked a week in May. At the time of drug test I was 2 and a half weeks clean from that week-long binge in May. I tested myself the day before the drug test with a hometest kit from Wal-mart and still tested positive for THC, which means I needed an alternative to pass my drug test! So with that being said here's what I did:
I started by researching all I could on what they will be looking for on a drug test. It seems there are a few criteria: creatinine levels, specific gravity, and color of urine (this will help prevent red flags to be raised on the sample being diluted). I scoured these forums for advice and read the sticky over and over again and this is what I did.
1.) 4 - 2 days before my drug test I ate a ribeye steak (med-rare yum!) each night. This helped increase my creatine levels which in turn increases your creatinine levels. I also bought creatine monohydrate from GNC for around 10$ and took 1 heaping tea spoon twice a day. This is all I did on the days before my drug test, everything else should be done on the DAY of the drug test.
2.) On the day of the drug test I woke up at 4 AM (my drug test was at 8:30 AM) and I followed the dilution method sticky. This means at 4 AM I drank two 8 oz glasses of water. I was voiding yellow urine at this stage. *Note* I skipped the aspirin because they were also going to take my blood (not a blood drug test though).
3.) At 5 AM I drank another 8 oz glass of water. I then drank another 8 oz glass every 15 minutes. At 6 AM I had totaled 48 ounces of water. During this time I began voiding clear (this is a good thing, you're basically urinating water) and I was voiding about every 20-30 minutes.
4.) At 6 AM I took 10x the daily amount of B-complex vitamins. These vitamins contain B-1, B-2, Niacin, B-6, Vitamin C, Calcium, Phosphorus, and Pantothenic Acid. With these vitamins I took 6 sugar-free Tums (I was also taking a blood test that day so I had to avoid sugars). The Tums will help keep your specific gravity at an acceptable level. I also drank about 4 ounces of water for every void I was doing to replenish the water I was losing.
5.) At 7 AM I left to go to the location of my drug test (the facility was about an hour away from where I lived). I had to void at least twice on the way there. On my first stop to alleviate myself, I noticed the vitamins kicked in and my void had turned vitamin yellow. I continued to replenish any of the water I had lost.
6.) At 8 AM I arrive at my destination and sit in the waiting room for roughly 20 minutes. This is where practice is important since you will have to hold your bladder until its time to submit your sample (it was very uncomfortable waiting!) I finally go into the bathroom and collect my sample mid-stream. I hear it's important to not collect the start or end of your stream.
7.) A week later I go in to have my physical done with the organization and they tell me I tested negative on my drug test! Happy days! I came in with a 3 oz shampoo bottle of clean urine just in case it came back diluted and I didn't even need it!

Where did you test? What lab?
After reading through the dilution and substitution stickys, it appears to me that substitution is a more sure-fire way to pass, although dilution will be my backup, and I'll do it pretty much exactly how you did. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, S/G and creatinine checks have become SOP in recent years, making sample "color" the least aspect in determining an overly-diluted urine sample.
Even samples with a nice yellow color to them can still be ruled "too-dilute" due to low S/G and creatinine levels.
