Indoor grow in soil medium.

Fox Farms Ocean Forest mixed with around 30% perlite.

No fertilizers yet.

Distilled water with neutral pH, watering every other day or whenever the top 2 inches of soil are dry.

Germinated 15 days ago, planted in soil 12 days ago.

T5 flourescent lighting, 8 bulbs, 56w each=448w total, around 30,000 lumens. Lights about 12 inches away from plants.

18/6 light schedule, light on temp is around 77-81 F, lights out temp is around 73-74 F.

Humidity around 40%.

Running 2 fans against the back wall for ventillation.

I just transplanted from 2 cup coconut fiber starter pots into bigger 3 gallon pots out of starter soil and into FFOF/perlite mix. The roots were starting to grow out of the coconut fiber starter pots. I watered the plants after transplanting them and then they started to droop. I'm a bit nervous about the new soil and possibly over-watering. I will keep an eye on them but in the mean time, what do you think?

To be honest it looks like symptoms of over watering.

What's the pH of your soil?

I'm pretty sure you were right about the over watering, as they look better and less droopy today. However, the leaves are starting to turn yellow now. I don't have a pH meter yet but I am getting one next week. I know that I need to measure the pH but I had the plants in some mild seed starter soil inside of coconut fiber cups and they grew out of the cups and needed to be transplanted much sooner than I had expected.

If you over watered them, then the leaves will yellow for awhile. Let the soil almost dry before you water them and get ANY kind of Ph meter and start ph'ing your water/soil/runoff and keep it stable. More problems are caused by over watering, overfeeding and NOT ph'ing the water you give these than any other things. (with the possible exception of spider mites) You can get a cheap ph/moisture/light meter at sLowes for $10. I use one and if you keep the probes clean, it's reasonable accurate. Eliminates over/under watering and ph problems, for sure. Don't guess, KNOW!

I just ck'd an experienced growers problem plants, and actually had to run through the Trouble-shooting form (a sticky at the start of this forum thread section) to find he wasn't cking soil Ph correctly and his ph was all the way down to 4.8 in some cases! Plants looked pretty weird, too. Even I was baffled, just looking at them. He's in the process of correcting it now...LOL!

I've just been through something similar with my babies. They had just reached 12 days old and started to turn yellow. They were in 100% coco, so I repotted them in soil. A few days later, they still seemed to have stopped growing and the lower leaves were still yellowing. So I fed them some Grow Big about 1/4 strength and suddenly new leaves popped out and they've started to grow again. Any new yellowing seems to have stopped. Next time they need watering, you might try a little bit of low strength food and see what happens. I think starting them in coco where they have absolutely NO nutrients, makes them use up their store of energy quickly. Next time I'm planting in soil from the get go. Good luck!

They are looking great today man, glad it was just overwatering.

Be sure to pick up that pH meter though, like tank said. :)

The pH meters at my local (and ONLY) hydro store are well over $100 so I've been saving up for it. I bought one of the cheaper $10 meters from Lowes but it doesn't work, sadly. I will head back to to exchange for a new one that will hopefully work. I just repotted in Fox Farms Ocean Forest/Perlite mixture a day or two ago so I am going to hold off on adding any more nutrients for right now unless their condition continues to decline and the pH isn't the issue. Thank you for all of your advice! I will post more pictures soon.
