Freaking out a bit about a drug screening on Friday. Am I being paranoid?

Hi all.

I have a drug test coming up this Friday for a very important job (they will be paying me 25 bucks an hour full time all summer so I can have some money to live on for my first year of grad school). Failing this drug test will fuck over my life in so many ways for the next year, so I am panicking a little bit about the possibility.

I am a really skinny, 21-year old guy (6 ft and 140 lbs). I will have been clean for 26 days on Friday. Prior to that, I was a daily smoker, but not heavy (it took me 2 months to go through an eighth). I have been exercising a little bit (2-3 times per week, only ran a mile or two each time).

I took a home First Check test with my first void of the day when I was 16 days clean and passed with a clear solid line (though it was pretty light). I took another one today (24 days clean) and passed again, but again, the line was still pretty light. #2 was also my first void of the day, but I had pulled an all nighter (partially because my stress over this test was keeping me from focusing on my work), so I am not sure how that affects it. I took a picture of that second test here. Seems I should be okay, but then I see stories like this and stop feeling so sure.

By all counts, I feel like I should be absolutely fine if I just hydrate well and pee a few times before my test on Friday. But I think of the 1% chance in my mind that I could fail and it makes me panic like nothing else.

I know the test I am taking is eScreen. I am considering a few options-

1) just plan on passing naturally with some mild hydration, taking it midstream, etc. This is just a bit uncertain, though.

2) get a detox drink from GNC. Worried this could make my result come up as diluted though, getting it sent to the lab and nailing me if I have any detectable THC at all.

3) borrowing my friend's piss. Problem is, the only clean friends I have who I would be comfortable asking about this are girls, and I hear mixed reports on whether I could get nailed for this. Seems like the answer is probably not, but I hate that 'probably'... A lot of people say it would be illegal for them to test gender, but no one ever provides a source for that.

4) buy some QuickFix. Seems like it should be easy, but again, I keep hearing the once-in-a-blue-moon stories where someone gets called out by a lab for synthetic urine.

What do people think? Any advice would earn my eternal gratitude as I am just worried sick about this. I am pretty confident I will pass, but not confident enough to put down $15k on it comfortably like I have to... ugh, fuck the fact that employers are allowed to do this.

I'm right there with you man. I UA'ed with TestClear today, and am ridiculously nervous. Honestly, this whole experience has me seriously considering quitting until legalization is farther along and this crap stops.

You don't smoke a lot and you're skinny. Follow the dilution methods in the sticky thread and you will be fine. Thc sticks to fat cells and you have no fat. You will be fine if you follow the method. .

Just heard today that I passed! Drank 32oz of Gatorade and ate a greasy breakfast the day of. Test was at 3:45, and I used my 5th piss of the day, end of the stream (tried to do midstream but ran out...). My pee was a pretty weird light color but it didn't look too dilute. Heard back a week later that I was in the clear.

Smoked a bunch after the test, so I'm glad I didn't get called back for dilution, haha. What a relief... Now I'm good at least until I'm job hunting again next summer.

Not sure how to make my own post, so sorry for being on yours. But here's my situation: 3 weeks and 2 days ago is the last time I smoked. I smoked heavy on the weekends, and once or twice during the week. I am 5'1 124lbs. I took a first check home test on friday and it said i was clean.. but i am nervous because this drug test that I took today for my summer job is being sent into the lab. do you think i will pass? i just need to get some weight off of my shoulders so i can stop freaking out.
