New Member: Took my first ever pre-employment drug test today

I Just want to say thank you to all you guys. I would never have even attempted this today. I had to go to quest diagnostics this morning. I just started reading forum about a week ago. I dont have money for a urinator or other costly methods. I read you guys experiences and bought a pair of tighty-whities and had a friends kid piss for me this morning. I microwaved it til it was like 105. I bought one of those hand-warming packs for like 5 bucks and digital thermometer for 3 bucks. You guys said how easy it was, so I wasnt nervous one bit. I put the bottle and hand warmer under my nuts. I was so cocky that I smoked a half a blunt about 10 mis before walking in. Man, I was blitzed. I was paranoid as shit for about 10 mins(hahahaha). After that I was fine. They had me waiting a hour and a half. I was nervous that the sample was cooling. I checked with the digital thermometer before I poured it in the cup. It was 99.4. I read about cooling after I poured it in the cup, so I should be ok I hope. I was always scared of a pre-employment drug test before coming to this site. But, you guys were right. It was one of the easiest things to do. Just stay calm and everything will be fine. I will update if I got a start date. I got a felony so who knows if the background check is before or after the drug test. The felony is from 20 years ago, so who knows. Wish me luck.

Sounds like you did everything right. Keep us posted of your results, but I think youre in the clear.

I still didn't hear shit yet. Today is Saturday and I took the test on Wednesday. Im more scared about the background check than anything. This sucks. Dumb shit you do as a teenager follows you forever.

Its Sunday night. Hoping to hear something in the morning. I'm really stressed about this.
