male/female ?

not sure on this one it started as a ball on side of stalk ( not where new growth forms on branch ) now not to sure what it is im kinda hoping for a male here cause of overcrowding pls let me know Attachment 290566 see growth on right next to 2 spike things ? the ball thing has been there about a week so if pistils were going to form wouldnt they of already ?
