Zippos really taste bad?

Hello all,

I was just curious if Zippos really did make weed taste bad. I'm looking around for a lifetime lighter, and I was going to buy a Zippo until I saw dozens of articles about Zippos supposedly making the smoke taste bad.


If that's true, does anyone know of another, reliable company like Zippo that would work better?

yeah the taste is bad with a zippo but it uses a petroleum based fuel what do you expect. refillable butane is better. and zippos dont last like they used to.

Well that leads to my next question:


What are some good reusable butane lighters? Preferably military-grade. The whole point, to me at least, of buying a reusable lighter is to never have to buy another Bic. Not that there's anything wrong with Bics, I'd just like a more...unique lighter, I suppose.

im a bic man myself. too lazy to fill lighters and or bother to try find butane. its getting more difficult to find around me.

Well, I'm probably the least lazy stoner I know. But really I want a signature lighter so people will stop taking my lighters. I have to buy a new one every week, and it's gotten to the point where I just leave mine and home and mooch a lighter for whatever we happen to be smoking(always making sure to return the lighter. I'm not a hypocrite!)

I'm a lighter thief, but I always return the cool ones unless its a bic

I always you bic myself but my girlfriend uses the refillable lighters. Check out ebay. They have all kinds of cool designs.

My friends pinched my lighters all the time.
So I started buying pink bics.
That slowed the male friends down. :)

Then I got one of those "yoyo" holders and tied a string to the lighter.
Kinda worked but was clumsy and made me look cheap. :)

Hell! it was cheap.
(I need to stop playing from greed.)

So I ate some kind of mushroom and thought about it.

Aum!!

Life is short.

Imagine some love.

Now, think with it

Ahhhh.

Nipped on down to Costo and bought a pallet-o-bics.
(Cost less than a good meal out.)
Now I give all my guests their very own lighter, in their favorite color, and I never run out.
(They keep losing them in my couch cushions, along with enough spare change to show a profit on the deal. :D)
