High, I have a bunch of seeds I purchased but I don't want to plant them all now. What's the best way to store seeds long term (6 months to a year)
best thing is bone dry...zero moisture
some people put them in the refrigerator or freezer
but, I have not since, 2007...a little dry rice in a pill bottle works for me
If you purchased them inside a sealed breeder pack, we suggest you leave them inside & don't open it.
If they're loose, the dry rice & bottle idea is fine for the timeframe you mentioned.
The important thing is to keep them nice & dry without extreme temperature variations or high humidity levels.
I've heard plenty of reports of people holding onto seeds for a few years without issues, but there are no guarantees.
