I woke up this morning and something new growing I can't tell what it is

The picture I attached is what I found look on the right side of the node there's something small and pointy growing out any help would be very appreciated.

what stage are they at
what node is that
i see what youre talking about, but with only that pic no one can give you much more than a lucky guess.
it could be an early sex organ, it could just be a funky anomalous growth.

In veg, 5 weeks 1 node from bottom up its tripping me out lol no clue won't it be a little too early to be showing sex? This is my first grow

yea id say its too early but not impossible i guess. i think what that may be is just the small bladed......damn brain drain...whatchamacallit that forms on either side of the nodes.
crap i hate it when i get braincramps. i know what it is called but the lil dube i just honked isnt helping that at all :) keep posting shots as it gets bigger i wanna see what it actually is.

Its the reproductive part of the plant . Female hairs will form , and if its male pollen sacs . If I could see the branching higher up I may be able to tell you male or female I have a pretty high success rate and do not need to wait until flowering . I have only been fooled by a hermaphrodite .
