I cut some sugar leaves. I know, I'm retarded.. Please help

Ok so I had a brother come here and tell me that it was fine to cut sugar leaves. So I did and I am worried. I believe I am at the end of my grow and have very little flowers. Did I do this to myself? Also I do not smoke weed nor have I ever seen a full grown plant and I don't know what to be looking for. Could someone please comment on my picture to let me know if my plants are normal looking.. How much will the cut sugar leaves effect my babies?Attachment 288143 Any advice would be so much appreciated

I pull hundreds and hundreds of leaves off my plants through the grow cycle. I don't care what kind of leaves they are, I open the plant up to get light, etc. I stop once they're in flower, generally, but it's not gonna kill anything. Your plant looks fine to me. I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but go watch some youtube vids, a lot of the old timer growers pull leaves like crazy. Some say to leave them alone. I've had way better yields when I manipulate the plant than when I don't, including removing leaves. Then you don't get a bunch of crappy little buds at the bottom and the other ones will get good light.
