Some indoor grow questions - Lighting, deficiencies etc.

Hi everyone,

I'm just looking for some info on a few things and hopefully some experienced people can help me out.

I've got a Grow tent about 3 x 3 and about 5' 5" in height with one balast and a 250W MH light.

All my nutes for far is Root Juice and Bio Heaven from Biobizz. They are just ending their second week, which is why I am still using root juice.

One plant, which I am certain is G13 Haze (some seeds got mixed up in the bag I have), one is Pineapple Chunk because I grew it before and the last is a retarded plant which has gimped leaves. It's like bugs came along and chomped at it, but there are no bugs and all plants are treated the same.

The G13 is growing awesome...it burst out of the seed in less than 24 hours (I had it in storage for over a year). Green, big leaves and is an entire node ahead of the other two.

The Pineapple chunk I am beginning to think it MIGHT have a propensity for Zinc deficiency because it's a real stumpy type plant with very small minute yellowing of tips. I think part of it has to do with the strain and the other part something else. It looks healthy and will upload picks, but you have to look close to see the tips. If it turns out to look like anything the last Pineapple Chunk looked like, some of the leaves will be like that and some not. If it is a zinc deficiency, what do I need to buy to fix that? The leaves are real small and the plant grows into a big bush..no topping or nothing..just a round looking bush.

The retard plant, I have no idea. It was the second plant out of the shell when germinating and the leaves area slightly lighter green, but the leave while an OK size looking like part of them got bitten off..or maybe like cleft leaf..like a cleft lip. It's one of Wonder Woman, White Widow or Nirvana.

Next

With the wattage I have, how tall should I wait till I start flowering because the space is limited and I don't want it to get to the point where the light just won't support the plants. I mean, I guess I could buy a stronger HID, but I might as well use what I have.

Last time, I grew, I used just the HPS for the whole thing because I mixed up the lights....I'm still a noob, but this time, I started vegging with the MH light and will use HPS for flowering. TBH, I don't see the difference. It's still week II (tomorrow is the end of week II), but so far, nothing different in growth.

I am going to repot them next week as they are still in their little cups..well two are in cups and the third is in a little plastic pot. I kinda poked around and the roots haven't formed a rootball around the sides of the soil and pot yet. Usually, I wait until this happens before repotting, but I guess that doesn't make much of a difference.

Do stronger lights make faster grows?

In these photos you will see the small Pineapple chunk and the retard plant of unknown origins. I wasn't able to upload the photos of the G13 Haze which is the stronger of the three and has zero issues.

I think there might be a limit to the number of photos I am allowed to upload because I have more of the G13 Haze and it won't let me upload them even though I decreased the size.
