Canna butter help please

Hello I am overwhelmed with info on www re canna butter so many variations. Point. What te pasture in fare height keep at or lower I do not want to get close to ANY EVAPORATION POINT ? This effects no matter the style - crock pot, double boiler, direct stove top, quantity of butter water time etc PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP I AM A CARDHOLDER NEW OBVIOUSLY
