Drug test paranoia, PLEASE HELP!!

I recently took a drug test at LabCorp on Oct. 24. Here is my recent smoking history:
After not smoking since July, I bought a gram of some real shitty weed on Sept. 27 and toked on that bag for about 5 days before it was gone (it was around the 1st of Oct that I ran out). Let me describe the bag, since I have read that intensity does play a factor. It didn't smell like weed, it had no odor and was brown and stale. Once I smoked it though, I could tell it was weed. The high was weak, almost like an immediate come down. I have smoked all kinds of weed in my life and could tell this was very weak stuff. So then on Oct. 10, I hooked up with a friend and took about 3 bowl hits of some decent stuff.

Quick history rundown. Clean since July until Sept. 27-Oct.1 with a gram of really weak stuff. Then on Oct. 10, 3 hits from my friends bowl. Basically, we shared 1 bowl of decent.

When word I was getting a promotion at work, I immediately knew I was going to have to piss. I have taken several piss tests in my life, mainly with the Army and have only failed once. The one that I failed was for a job at Winn Dixie and I smoked the day before. But some with the Army, I had smoked within that same week and passed.

So leading up to the test on Oct. 24, I bought an at home test from Walgreens and passed with a morning first-piss. That was on Oct. 22. The test line actually looked pretty nice. Then, I went to Walmart and bought a first check and passed it as well (nice line again). Then I went to the head shop and talked to the dude there and told him my story and that I passed two home checks and he was like "dude, you aint got shit to worry about." But I bought two tests from his store and passed them both, with nice thick lines again. Finally, I went to the dollar tree and bought some assay strips and passed both of them as well. So that is six at-home tests and all negatives.


The night before I drank probably 2 gallons of water and went No. 1 all night long. Then I woke up on the day of the test and immediately went to the bathroom. I drank more water then and pissed one more time. Then, I drank two more bottles of water and when I got to LabCorp, I pissed in the cup, mid-stream. After the test I stopped at the Dollar Tree and got one more tester to see if I may have diluted too much and the tester came up negative. So that is 7 at-home tests, all passes.

So what does everybody think. Should I worry?

I forgot to put that I am male, 5-11, 200. Not fat, big guy who exercises.

If youre consistently testing negative with the first void of the day, youre good to go.

Thanks toast. Yes I have passed with a first void but not all 7 of the tests. The first one I did at 10 am right after I woke up. One of the more critical ones and best line I had was right after the test. Also the day of test was probably 5 th void after a lot of water. Not to gross anybody out but does going number2 day of before test help? Bc I did that too!

Keep in mind that there is no meaning attributed to the intensity or width of a line. If a line appears in the 'T' region (faint or bold), it is a negative. In order for it to be a positive, the "T" region has to remain blank.

Even synthetic urine controls (which contain no drug metabolites at all) can produce a faint line on an assay.

Anytime you test yourself, always use the first void of the day when THCA concentrations would be at their highest. Taking home tests during the latter parts of the day skews the results due to fluid consumption that occurs during the normal course of the day. The fluid consumption dilutes the THCA concentration (that is present in your bladder) to where the urine sample can register a negative. This dilution phenomena is only temporary - once the fluids consumed had all been voided out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys, and thus the donor is right back to square one.

What was the actual reason for you taking a U/A at LabCorp?

Ok. Thanks again. The first test I took, in the am on Oct22 was a first void. When I took the real test i was drinking a lot of water between the time I woke up and when i took test shortly after noon. It is a pre employment screen at lab corp.

By drinking "a lot of water" on the day of the U/A, dont be too surprised if Labcorp rules the sample "diluted" and reports the ruling as such to your prospective employer.
How the employer will handle a "diluted" result depends on the employer. Some employers will grant a retest while some others will accept it as a "hunky dory", while still other employers will simply move on to the next candidate for hire.

I have been an associate with the company in Missouri for 4 years but have just been slotted in a management position which had all the benefits, hence the drugtest. Basically, I already know how to do the job better than anybody else. I am probably freaking out over nothing.

Burnt Toast: Does the potency of the mary jane have anything to do with how long it stays in your system? And, excuse me for all of the grammar miscues, I am typing from my phone.

Should be good to go. Being in shape and smoking that little amount shouldn't hurt. Sounds like the water was an extra boost in safety. Toast is right on. If your urine wasn't as clear as the water you drank the night before, you should be glad you got the promotion. Congrats on that, and good luck.

Thanks everybody for your insight. I am so relieved now because I PASSED!! I got the call today. I hate to say this, but I am done with Mary for a little while. I love her, but I love my son more -- that was a close call and could have been a devastating loss for my family. Maybe it will be legal one day and we can have our time together.
