A Few Questions About Autoflowering Strains

Hello again, everyone!

So after a few trial-and-error round of growing with random seed, I've decided to take the next step and buy some seeds from a reputable bank. In my random searches on other grow forums, I've been hearing a lot of good things about autoflowering strains, but I've always valued the input of this community and now is no different. The main things I'd like to know are:

1) Would feminized autoflowering seeds be worth the slightly elevated cost over a feminized photoperiod seeds? If so..
A) What breeders would you recommend most?
B) Any strains you recommend? I'm ultimately looking for a Sativa-dominant (60% or more), a Indica-dominant (60% or more), and a fairly balanced hybrid, 50-50 or 60-40 in either direction.
C) If not, then why not? Also, same questions as A and B.

2) What grow medium would be best? So far I've only used a soil-coco coir mix (3 parts soil to 1 part coco) but I'm open to anything.

3) What type of fertilizer would be best for an Autoflower?
