I need your opinion in one specific court trial. URGENT

I reckon that no one will engage as an ï¿½expertï¿½ in a future court trial. So to support my opinions I will use forums with ï¿½expertsï¿½ to discuss this. If you can contribute, write a comment to my post or send me an PM.

The case: 146 plants were seized. Two of the plants was 76 gram and 162,5 gram (fully grown). The rest was just cuttings (size 10-20 cm).
An expert from the police has used the two fully grown plants to estimate what these 144 cuttings could have developed to become. The calculation:

76 gram total ï¿½ 15 gram plant stem = 61 gram 61 x 144 = 8784 gram cannabis

Thc-content plant 1.1: 3 %
61g x 3/100 = 1,83g THC 1,83g x 144 = 263g THC

As the thc-content were so low, they calculated this to hashish (8 % - 10 %)

Translated to hashish: 2,63 kg (10 %) ï¿½ 3,29 kg (8 %)

or:

Using plant 1.2, assuming all the 144 would develop to be identical with this:

162,5g total ï¿½ 37g plant stem = 125,5g 125,5g x 144 = 18072g cannabis

Thc-content plant 1.2: 2 %

125,5g x 2/100 = 2,51g THC 2,51g x 144 = 362g THC

Translated to hashish: 3,61 kg (10 %) ï¿½ 4,5 kg (8 %)

The charge in this case, the 146 plants fully grown would minimum be 8,78 kg cannabis.
Sentencing: 1 year 3 months (Norway)
They have also used a judgment from a case regarding pills to compare this case, estimated 2,7 kg hashish. It's strange using a case regarding pills, itï¿½s a lot of cases with more similarities,
like has been growing cannabisï¿½
A cottage (where we grew this) is claimed confiscated. This was the first grow and nothing was ever completed/done.

We do not agree, and we feel that the police have taken this case all out of its proportions. The two plants who is being used as a template in the calculation was standing separate and had one square meter to develop on, they was growing for a long time and was tied down so more buds was developed. The 144 others were in a sea of green system, growing 24 plants on one square meter. A sea of green where the plants are growing that close will only give one top bud. So to directly calculate the 144 plants are all wrong. You can also call this calculation a ï¿½best case scenarioï¿½ if all would have developed like this and survived. I think itï¿½s very opinionating of what this could have resulted in, without thinking of variables like gender, diseases, power cut, nutriment/pH level faults.

In a more nuanced calculation where you look at the difference in the way you grow and variables:

Cultivation: 1 big plant = 12 small plant in this kind of system.
Variables: the ratio of male/female plants can be from 0 % to 100 %, I have used 50 % male and 50 % female plants, the ratio is uncertain. Other variables than this is not calculated. THC-content for male plants
has been obtained from an expert rapport. In real life, you throw the male plants away, so they donï¿½t fertilize the female plants and produce seedsï¿½

144/12 = 12 plants. 6 male and 6 female

Using plant 1.1:
76g total ï¿½ 15g plant stem = 61g 61g x 12 = 732g cannabis

Thc-content plant 1.1: 3 %, male plant 0,2 %

30,5g x 3/100 = 0,915g THC 0,915g x 6 = 5,49g THC
30,5g x 0,2g/100 = 0,061g THC 0,061g x 6 = 0,366g THC

Total thc-content: 5,85g

Translated to hashish: 58,56g (10 %) ï¿½ 73,12g (8 %)

Plant 1.2:

162,5 total ï¿½ 37g plant stem = 125,5g 125,5g x 12 = 1506g cannabis

Thc-content plant 1.2: 2 %, male plant 0,2 %

62,75g x 2/100 = 1,255g THC 1,255g x 6 = 7,53g THC
62,75 x 0,2/100 = 0,1255g THC 0,1255g x 6 = 0,753g THC

Total thc-content: 8,283g

Translated to hashish: 82,83g (10 %) ï¿½ 103,53g (8 %)

This is significant less than the calculation this case is based on, but I mean that this will give a better/more correct estimate of what the 144 plants could have developed to become. I also tried out other calculations as the
1g/1W and 25g per plant in a SOG (optimal process) and a calculation based on the seed producer estimates given in per square meter.
All of these calculations are much closer to my way of calculating than the one used in this case.

If you look at the thc-content, itï¿½s very low. It was our first time growing, but I suspect the police to have measured the plant without drying it first. So the charge of 8,78 kg cannabis should maybe just been 2,2 kg cannabis (dry)??

The ratio dry/wet plant: 1:4. 75 % of the plant is water.
Thc-content would then have been 8 % - 10 %, which is more normal.

I have used different forums before to support my opinions that 2 big plants on one square meter will give you more than 24 plants in a SOG with the same space and lights.
And itï¿½s a big difference in one big soil-grown plant compared to one plant in a SOG system where the plant has just the space and light to develop one top bud.

I hope for some unbiased and impartial feedback on my opinions as I wrote above.
