My Screening Story

I wanted to share my story for informational purposes.

Age: 41, Height: 5â??10â?�, Weight: 195, daily user 1-2 grams.

Day 1 â?? First day of abstinence.
Day 2 â?? Bought a Strip NC 7 day cleanser. I didnâ??t follow the rules completely. Drank 5 liters of water a day.
Day 7 â?? Started jogging 2.5 miles (ran daily, every day until day 28). Followed the rules on the box completely.
Day 8 â?? Took a home test. Failed. On this day, I got serious, figured it was because I didnâ??t follow instructions; bought another cleanser kit and started high fiber diet.
Day 8 thru Day 15 â?? Finished the cleanser kit following the directions to a tee. Ran 2.5 miles every day.
Day 16 â?? Took a home test, Failed.
Day 16 thru Day 28 â?? Ran 2.5 miles every day with high fiber diet. (Ended up losing 10 lbs).
Day 28 â?? Took a home test, Passed.
Day 28 thru Day 31 â?? Stopped running, switched to a high fat / red meat diet.
Day 31 â?? Went to lab for the real deal. I didnâ??t dilute as I thought I was good to go.
Day 34 â?? Received a call from the lab. Scored a 51 (49 is a negative) on the screening, tested positiveâ?¦.Failed. I called the hiring company to let them know I had failed. Because of the fact they recruited me, theyâ??re giving me a re-test on Day 37. Prior to posting this I took another home test. Failed.

I have no idea whatâ??s going on with my body. My buddy thinks itâ??s because Iâ??m running so much. All I know is, on Day 37â?¦.I am going to DILUTE like crazy. Iâ??d be curious to hear anyoneâ??s theory on dilemma.

Theres no way you couldve obtained a quantitative value because the Immunoassay screen, which has a cutoff limit of 50 ng for THC, lacks the ability to yield a quantitative value. All I/A screens are a "go/no go" endeavor, just like the home tests.
In order to obtain a quantitative value, the sample would have to undergo a confirmation GC/MS which carries a cutoff limit of 15 ng for THC-COOH.

It must be understood that consuming fluids (including the magic detox potion) do nothing to permanently rid the body of THC. Drinking fluids only serve to dilute the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder (in the hoping that the urine sample registers a negative on the drug screen) . This dilution phenomena is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine and thus the donor is right back to square one. For this reason, consuming fluids is only helpful on the few hours prior to a U/A.

Day 35 - Morning void tested. There was a slight shadow if you looked at in bright light but nothing that would show up in a photo. Followed the dilution method found on this board then tested. Bright Pink Line.

Just so you know for future reference Day 2 - Day 8 was a complete waste of money, you cannot drink some product and pee out all the THCA in your system. That is not how it works. There are no flushes.

Start loading creatine. Sit on your ass, eat fatty foods, and creatine load for these last couple days and dilute with a sports drink the day of the test. You should do fine.

Absolutely agree, it was more of an experiment than anything, figured I had plenty of time. So, I'll just add to the hundreds of posts stating the obvious. DILUTE! DILUTE! DILUTE! Don't rely on the money wasting products.

Especially so since those products "work" via the principle of dilution anyway (that is, when they do work at all). You can spend an obscene amount of money on those magic elixirs and accomplish nothing different than what can be accomplished by using just water and vitamin B2.

Dilute with Gatorade, it's supposed to help increase you specific gravity.

Update:
I took my re-test on day 37. I spent the weekend testing. I was always getting a super faint line with first void. Used the dilution method posted and on my own was getting a bright pink line. 48 hours later the employer hasn't received the results yet so I'm assuming the worst. I got the call from the lab on the 3rd day...which is tomorrow...I'm expecting it. I'll post another update when I know for sure.

Final Update:
I just got my results back: Negative Dilute. Good to GO! Employer just needed a negative, didn't care about the dilute.
