Hello, im ThDude

Hello everyone, I seemed to have joined this site but not remember doing so(Must have been using pot that day). well now i am on here and i will give a little introduction to myself.


Up till last year I was not really worried about medical pot or any other forms of it as I did not need it. However last year it was discovered that I have a connective tissue disorder when i was in the hospital for very bad lung pain and such. i had to have a large bit of my left lung removed and they will be doing my right lung in the next year i believe. on top of That i have bad heart valves, hyperextenable joints/dislocation problems.

After my lung had surgery I was never the same, I could not work for more then an hour without being tired and worn out. I would have to rest 1-2 hours before continuing. It had gotten so bad we thought about going on disability, I did not due to my pride(I have to much of it), that's not to say disability is a bad thing, I know there are many people out there that have to have it. I just personally want to find a way around it.

So I tried pot, and it worked, I was able to work for more then an hour and I kept on going not feeling any pain or being tired. I did smoke it which comes with low risk due to my medical condition though i talked to others with the same problem with their lungs who have not had any issues with it causing harm.

I smoked for 2 weeks and did fine(ran out of pot and have not been able to get any for a few weeks). I went to my doctor and told him that i tried Pot and it helped me with all of my problems, I asked him if there was any type of medical pot in my state and the answer was no. However he did give me the option to try Marinol which is a pill form of synthetic THC, Today will be my first day to take it if my perscription is ready at the store so i will let you know how that goes.

I still plan on using weed if the pill does ot work the same.

with your lung issues i would suggest using cannabis in other ways other than smoking. I've found that marijuana is alot more therapeutic when taken orally(food or drink) Marijuana tincture is a highly effective concentrate that uses vegetable glycerin to soak up the precious cannabinoids that you seek. Beware when taking medicated foods, drinks, and pills(marijuana of course)..........start small and work your way up. That way you eliminate the chance of taking wayyyyy to much, its not a fun feeling. You will feel the effects for a good 5-8 hours if potent enough, but the high seems to effect the body more than inhaling the smoke. Great for relieving pain. Happy medicating :) its only the safest medicine on earth with over 4,000 years of documented human consumption without a single death.

if you have any questions about preperation of medicinal cannabis concentrates just ask. I Go through quite a bit of trim from my plants so im always making hash, tinctures, butter, oil, lotions, you name it. Concentrates are my thing, my tolerance has gotten so high i can't afford an 80$ a day when my harvest goes dry.
