300 pound guy... test approaching soon, any advice appreciated!

Like several others on these forums, I have an opportunity for a significant promotion that requires a drug test.

Was a daily smoker for years, but have now been clean for 30 days.
Been working out 5 days/week and eating right, have lost 17 pounds in the last 30 days.
Drinking cranberry juice and lots of water (but I understand water only helps with dilution on test day)
Also taking vitamins to increase metabolism.
Started smoking again to help with stress (also should increase metabolism slightly)... ugh!

Tested negative for THC yesterday, positive today on home test strips.

My test is 7-14 days from now and I'm looking for any extra advice on top of what I'm doing that could help to ensure I pass.

Also, I've heard that some labs send the tests off to other states for verification/processing. If I decide to go with synthetic QF and they send to a lab in Washington or Oregon, should I be concerned they will test for non-human urine? As of now, I'm not sure which lab will be used.

Have you taken a drug test for this company before?
If you have you should have most of your answers.
Checking for synthetic urine is an added cost for them and they usually don't bother. If a company is really concerned they would pay the extra for hair tests.
Also if this is a job that falls under the DOT regulations they have to follow protocol which means QuickFix always works.
If you're concerned that they might test for synthetic QuickFix has a canadian version thats supposed to pass these tests.

As far as getting clean naturally, it might work. You're working out a lot and if you are eating a high fiber diet it will help even more. I'm a big guy too but in my case I have a very slow metabolism and it takes me over 60 days to get clean. Its always a personal type thing that varies amongst everyone. If you do go the clean route then be sure to quit exercising 3 days before the test and switch to a red meat high fat diet till the test.

First of all, thanks for your reply - I'm impressed by the wealth of information and sincere help you guys give people on these forums...

When I first tested with this company, I was clean and had no worries - but that was 5 years ago and in another state. This is 100% corporate America, a Fortune 200 global company, not DOT.

New update as of this afternoon - test is Tuesday (which will actually be day 32), not 7-14 more days out as I expected... but I don't think that changes your response, just the timing of changing my diet and stopping my exercise on Saturday instead of next week sometime.

I have QuickFix on standby (and all the "normal" stress of trying to sub for the first time), but today I also had the realization that self-knowledge is power, and testing myself, not only in the morning these next few days, but a couple times a day leading up to Tuesday will give me guidance on whether i can have confidence in my urine being clean, or not - with a backup plan ready to go.

My plan is to exercise once more tomorrow, continuing with the high fiber diet, then Saturday, switch to red meat and high fat as suggested (unless you advise differently). Come Tuesday morning I can make the decision to piss or sub based on 4 days of testing and knowledge.

Sounds like you've got a plan. Sometimes its easier to wear 2 pairs of shorts to hold the quickfix in your crotch. I use to sew an inside pocket into all of mine because I was randommed all the time.
If when you dump the quickfix into the collection cup and its a little low, rub your thumb against your clothes for a couple seconds and then place your thumb on the temp strip on the collection cup for a couple seconds. When it hits 98 walk out of the room.
