Just found out I passed the test...

Hey everyone... I'm posting this to make sure people know that the Dilution Guidelines still work as of July 2012!

I wanted to tell my story here because prior to my test, I spent a lot of sleepless nights Googling and researching trying to find out if this method still works. There are all kinds of forums all over the internet with widely varying advice and outcomes, but not a lot of recent "Hey guys, I passed!" stories. I know there are a lot of you stressing about this -- perhaps if you hear my story you won't stress quite so much.

Here's the details:

- I'm a fairly regular pot-smoker... not a "wake-n-bake" dawn-to-dusk type, but it's fair to say Pot provides my "beer after work" stress relief. Let's say 2-4 bongloads/vapes an evening.
- I'm 49, 5'10" 230 lbs. Not exactly in the best shape physically (I could easily lose about 20-25 lbs -- so, lots of thc stored in my fat cells).
- I was laid off recently and I actually started smoking more to deal with the anxiety and stress of being unemployed (I figured I would have enough notice beforehand to pass any drug screens).
- The good news was that I found a job relatively quickly (yay) the bad news was I might have found it too quickly... the terms of employment required a background check and a drug screen within 72 hours of me accepting the job offer.
- I managed to finagle "time to think" about the job offer, and wound up with 13 days "clean" prior to my test.

A drugstore test one week prior to the drug screen showed positive (no dilution). I'd passed three prior pre-employment drug screens in my career (once with dilution using some stupid "detox" drink and twice simply by abstaining long enough prior to the test), but I was worried that technology might have developed to the point that my old methods wouldn't work. I was considering substitution, dilution, even that fucking Pectin bullshit.

Then I stumbled across the "Dilution Guidelines" posted in these forums and decided to follow them to the letter.

First, I started boosting my Creatine intake four days before testing. One day prior, I did a dry run with the Dilution method and tested negative on a drugstore test (the line was FAINT but goddamnit it was there!!!). I was soooOOOOooooOO relieved.

The next day, I repeated the Dilution, but added B vitamins and Calcium (Tums). I went to the Doc-in-a-Box one hour before the deadline, pee'd in the cup, and passed a 5-panel NDOT std(W354) test. Of course, I had an anxious three days waiting to find out the results.

Some of you out there may be considering the "replacement" method. I'm really dubious about artificial urine... I've heard it's effective but I've also heard stories about how the detection technology has caught up to it. Also, I didn't know how closely they would check me prior to pee-ing, or if they would watch me pee (in prior screens, I had to leave the door open while a clinician monitored me)... ultimately I decided not to risk it.

However, if you do decide to go that route, this particular clinic didn't check my package too closely. They made me empty my pockets and put my valuables in a lock-box, but I could've smuggled in a fake urine bottle by wedging it into my crotchal areas. The clinicians at this place allowed me to pee with the door closed.

Hope this will help any of you that are stressing out... don't waste your money on stupid herbal bullshit and detox drinks, don't risk the fake urine method. Just follow the dilution instructions on this forum to the letter. Best of luck to you.
