A fine opportunity.
Heylo people!
I have grown in the past with some great results. I used a 400W HPS in a small closet (I had built approx. 3' x 3' x 9'). I used a cooltube for the entire grow and same bulb the whole grow as well.
Here I am, about 4 years later with a great opportunity. I have a welder now, and the parts to build the worlds best little cabinet.
Now, 4 years doesn't sound like a lot of time. I assure you, it is. I have forgotten (or at least I think I did) a lot of the rules based around nutrients and what have you... I have done some more reading, but I really learned a lot by just doing it myself... this is why I am on this forum. I would rather the opinions of a Forum of growers than those of a published work.
anyway....
Here is what I would like to do:
I would like to build an inconspicuous little unit. I would like this unit to be small enough to move, but large enough to maintain a reasonable, perpetual harvest.... Now, I understand the steps necessary to create a harvest like this... Where I need the help is in the smaller details...
How small can I go? Taking into account FIM, SOG and other forms of training...(to obtain a half ounce, smokeable, each month)
What is the best material to use to build this puppy? Any preferences of metal? I was thinking 1/8" steel with small framing...
Are fluorescents or LED's a good option?... Has LED technology improved over the past few years?? Thats what I thought would happen anyway...
What is the best heat resistant mylar? I have run into so many different ones that claim fame... which do you prefer?
What nutrients do you like best? Should I go with Organic?
I was thinking about a simple flood and drain system? What do you think?
Any questions for me?
Thanks :)

A fine opportunity.
Hey,
I bought the Secret Jardin DRT90 grow tent. It is in 2 parts, main tent and seedling tent.
I also use the Pro-Grow 260 LED light. You can check out my grows in my signature. I am currently documenting my second grow.
The LED technology has come a long way. I'm very happy with it.
So I hope my grow logs help you out.
Take Care
S.L.
