Hi! I'm an idiot!

So I interviewed for a job at Target Distribution three weeks ago. They said I'd hear back in one or two weeks. I had quit smoking weed. After the second week I assumed I didn't get the job, well we all know what they say about assuming...yesterday I get a call at 3:00 in the afternoon asking me to come back in for a drug test today at 10:00am. Frantic, I went to the head shops in the area and no one had fake urine, but in one shop the girl convinced me that this stuff "Magnum" Detox Drink would work. She said that the it's the only thing she carries, because it's the only thing people have ever specially requested and she has people who come back on a regular basis for it. She said she only had one person come back and say it didn't work, but the person admitted to not following the instructions.

Who knows if the girl was telling the truth or not but I decided to buy it since I couldn't find a substitute since all my friends smoke, and I couldn't find fake urine. I followed the instructions perfectly this morning, and everything seemed to go well, my urine came out a nice yellow which was one of my main concerns. But I'm just concerned that I didn't pass because I've never read anything good about detox drinks.

I figured someone here might be able to give me an idea of my chances, here are the ingredients in the 16oz bottle:
Water, high fructose corn syrup, Natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, creatine monohydrate, sodium benzoate, ascorbic acid(vitamin c), FD&C red 40, xanthan gum, riboflavin(vitamin b2), pyriodoxine hci(vitamin b6), cyanocobalamin(vitamin b12)

The things with percentages listed on the Guaranteed Analysis are as follows:
Vitamin C: 70%
Riboflavin B2: 111%
Vitamin B6: 60%
Iron: 70%
Vitamin B12: 2300%

And the instructions were to drink entire bottle, wait fifteen minutes, fill the bottle up with water and drink the whole thing. Then it suggested to urinate 2-3 times after consumption and not to drink more than 8oz of water per hour afterwards.

My other question is, if I fail the drug test, can I appeal it?

I feel like such a moron for assuming I didn't get the job. Also, I don't know if this info helps or not, but I do smoke everyday. And in the past I've quit a week before a drug test and passed. I'm just nervous because I only had 24 hours this time O.O

if you do fail it will probably be because of a diluted. Detox aren't some magic formula. they work by dilution and most drug screeings have validity testing also. Most of the time, yeh not all the time, if a sample comes back diluted the employer will allow you to retake the test. Quickfix and other synthetic urine can be found online and shipped to your home overnight. and im willing to bet you know someone who has clean urine, like try mom or dad if it comes down to it

Thanks for the help :] My parents are super religious and if I asked them to essentially help me lie and told them I smoke pot, even though I'm 21 years old, they would not be happy with me. I can probably find some clean piss if I ask around some more or I'll just order it if I have to retake it. I didn't have time to check every head shop either so I'll call around.

hey my parents are the same way, but if it came down to it i'd ask them. but i guess you're right, for some reason a big chunk of the older generation love tyranny

Your chances are probably not good but you might get lucky. I would get some synthetic urine off the web or keep searching till you find it locally. You might get lucky and if it comes back dilluted they may allow you to take a new test.

Just wanted to let you all know that I did in fact pass, not really sure if it was the drink or not?

Honestly sometimes I think these jobs are not looking for THC and are only looking for "harder" drugs. But it's hard to say. But this is the third drug test I've passed where I hadn't quit smoking weed for more than a week. Maybe I just have really fast metabolism, but one day seems ridiculous.

The drug tests are definitely looking for THC metabolites.

Youve passed because, by consuming the magic detox potion (along with the water consumed, as per the instructions), you have managed to dilute the THC metabolite concentration in your bladder just enough to where the urine sample registered below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. You wouldve passed that same test on that same day by using just water & vitamin B2.
